RHONDA FIORILLO, MPT, WCS, PRPC
Rhonda graduated from University of Nevada, Reno in 1991 with a B.A. in Health Education. After completing her undergraduate degree, she attended College of Osteopathic Medicine of The Pacific in southern California where she earned her Masters in Physical Therapy. Graduating in 1994, her first job was at a rehabilitation hospital in Reno working on a multi-disciplinary team treating both adult and pediatric patients with traumatic brain injuries.
In 1996, she pursued her orthopedic and neurological interests in an out-patient setting at the rehabilitation hospital, where she began specializing in vestibular disorders. During this time, Rhonda pursued her post-graduate training in orthopedic spinal dysfunction and joined a multi-disciplinary team of physicians in evaluating complex spine cases.
Rhonda realized her strong desire to provide individualized care based on the patient's needs and goals. Following her desire to keep a small practice which provided manual physical therapy combined with patient education and exercise, she opened Back In Motion Physical Therapy in 1996 and has been providing quality care in a healing and educating manner ever since. Her post graduate work emphasizes advanced manual therapy techniques and she treats a variety of orthopedic and neurological disorders. She also performs Functional Capacity Evaluations and customized Work Re-Entry Programs for people who desire to return to the workforce after sustaining a significant injury. She has taken over 30 post graduated courses to enhance her manual skills and has been a guest lecturer in anatomy at the University of Nevada, Reno's Medical School.
Rhonda earned her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification through the Herman and Wallace Institute in 2014 and became Board Certified as a Womens Health Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2015.
Outside of work, Rhonda enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, traveling and being with her husband and sons.
