Pelvic Health PT for Men

About 30% of our clients are men.  We treat men who have complications from prostate cancer including incontinence, pain, erectile dysfunction and scar management.  We also have successful outcomes in evaluating and treating men with urinary and bowel incontinence, tailbone and low back pain and pudendal neuralgia.  We understand that men want to learn about their problem and how to fix it..... in a private and confidential environment,  A successful outcome always starts with a thorough evaluation and development of a treatment plan to meet your goals.

Pediatric Pelvic Health PT

We love to treat children and help them gain their confidence and control of their bladder and bowels.  Wondering if pelvic floor physical therapy can help your child with bedwetting, daytime incontinence or constipation?  Talk with your pediatrician and discuss pelvic floor physical therapy.  Rhonda utilizes non-invasive ultrasound, sEMG of pelvic floor muscles and can help with changing bladder habits, scheduling and changes simply with talking to the family and child.

Summus Laser Therapy

The Summus Class IV FDA approved laser safely penetrates deeper to give faster treatments with a greater number of applications, translating into positive physiological outcomes that include:

• Advanced pain relief
• Accelerated healing
• Increased cellular energy levels• Improved range of motion• Improved function
• Reduced inflammation, swelling and muscle spasms

The number of sessions will depend on the exact diagnosis, age and overall health status of the patient, and other factors. In general, acute conditions can be treated more frequently and require fewer visits, typically 4-6. Chronic conditions may require more visits, and do not need K-Laser treatment as frequently. The effects of
K-Laser treatments are cumulative. Patients may experience significant pain relief very quickly.

Benefits Shown from Laser Therapy

The benefits are many... they are all listed on the bottom of K-Laser Therapy page.

Bladder/Pelvic Floor Ultrasound

Abdominal ultrasounds use sound waves to create images of structures and blood flow in the abdomen. These ultrasound images are a useful way of examining the pelvic floor, paraspinal and abdominal muscles contracting.  It also provides helpful feedback to visually see the bladder lifting for proper pelvic floor strengthening and relaxation.
