Physical Therapy
We start with a proven scientific background with an evidence-based practice to evaluate your specific condition and utilize manual techniques to treat a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions. Each treatment plan is developed specifically for you and with you based on your needs and goals. Treatment starts with a hands-on approach to provide lasting change and progresses to an exercise based program to promote proper alignment, balance and strength. When you are discharged from care, you will feel educated about your condition and empowered to maintain your new sense of well-being on your own.
Functional Capacity Evaluations
A Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) is a comprehensive and structured test which typically lasts 4 to 5 hours. Testing is conducted by a Nevada licensed physical therapist specializing in performing FCEs. This type of thorough exam is critical for a variety of clients who require this assessment methodology including Workers Compensation claims, Disability Evaluations, Social Security Benefits and Medical-Legal cases. A battery of evidence-based, standardized tests are utilized to assess, measure and report objective and quantitative data for a multitude of factors.
Our FCE provides an accurate assessment of a person's physical abilities and documents the collected data as well as assesses level of effort using a reliable and repeatable method.
If an employer or insurance carrier has a job description available, we are able to accurately and concisely report whether or not the patient has demonstrated the physical abilities required to fulfill the tasks for the job. We work closely with a multitude of health care providers as well as insurance case managers, vocational rehabilitation counselors and attorneys both locally and out-of-state.
